Danny Rimer

Danny Rimer has served on TrialPay’s board since 2006. He also is a board member of Astley Clarke, Boku, Flipboard, FON, Oanda, Sky (BSY), Stardoll, Rightscale, Swipely and viagogo. He's an observer on the board of Etsy and he is also a director of Maggie's Cancer Caring Centers. He previously was a director of KVS (Symantec), Last.fm (CBS), Lovefilm, MySQL (Sun), Neoteris (Juniper) and Skype (eBay).

Roger Lee

Roger Lee has served on TrialPay’s board since 2006. He also is a board member at Angie's List, FreeWheel, Groupon (observer), Lotame, PrimeRevenue, Spot Runner and World Golf Tour. He was on the board of Insitu (acquired by Boeing), and he was a board observer at Neoteris prior to its acquisition by NetScreen.

Alex Rampell

Co-Founder and CEO

Alex Rampell is the co-founder and CEO of TrialPay, where he is responsible for general management and building corporate infrastructure. Prior to TrialPay, Alex co-founded FraudEliminator, the first consumer anti-phishing company, which merged into SiteAdvisor and was acquired by McAfee in April 2006. Alex began his career writing and selling consumer software on bulletin board systems and the nascent Internet. His first successful company gained hundreds of thousands of paying consumers worldwide and had products featured in Forbes, The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, USA Today, "Today," CNBC and BusinessWeek. He holds an AB in Applied Math and Computer Science, cum laude, from Harvard University.


Terry Angelos

Co-Founder and CPO

Terry is a co-founder and the Chief Product Officer at TrialPay, where he is responsible for developing advertising and monetization solutions for TrialPay's e-commerce merchants, game publishers and social app developers. Terry was previously a director of product management for Living.com, a Benchmark Capital and Amazon.com-funded online retailer and a product manager at Trilogy Software, where he was responsible for e-commerce solutions for the Fortune 50. He holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from WITS University, an SM in Engineering Science from Harvard University and an MBA from MIT Sloan.


Eddie Lim

Co-Founder and CTO

Eddie Lim has served as the company's Chief Technology Officer since September 2006. Before joining TrialPay, Eddie worked in product design at Facebook, helping establish and implement various growth strategies. Previously, he was a co-founder and CTO of Yub.com (formerly Metails.com)—a pioneering online shopping mall that combined social networking with an innovative shopper rewards program. Metails was acquired by Buy.com in September 2004. Eddie holds an AB in Computer Science, magna cum laude, from Harvard University.


Jim Gerber

Senior Vice President of Sales/Partnerships

Jim is responsible for publisher partnerships and business development at TrialPay. Prior to TrialPay, Jim spent 8 years at Google, most recently as Senior Director of Partnerships. At Google, Jim worked on various initiatives with publishers across products such as AdSense, Book Search and News, among others. Earlier in his career, Jim managed sales and business development teams at companies including Ashford.com and Clarify Software. Jim holds a BA from UC Berkeley and an MBA from Stanford.


Chris Davis

Vice President of Brand Sales

Chris is a Digital Media Executive who has built large sales organizations and specializes in integrated advertising campaigns focusing on brand engagement. He has worked with many of the world’s most successful brands across numerous verticals, including entertainment, gaming, retail, and consumer packaged goods. Most recently, he ran global sales for Gaia Online, a leading online community targeting teens and young adults. Prior to that, Chris ran global sales for Neopets, a popular virtual world/social network acquired by Viacom (MTV Digital) in June, 2005. He has spoken at numerous industry events targeting digital media and social gaming, as well as being quoted in numerous trade publications on the subject of brand engagement and Immersive Advertising. Chris earned a BS from Michigan State University.


Clint Smith

VP and General Counsel

Clint Smith is responsible for the company's legal affairs, including corporate law, intellectual property strategy, commercial contracts, compliance and litigation. Before joining TrialPay, Clint Smith served as general counsel and corporate secretary for MySQL AB and has also headed the legal departments at Macromedia, Inc. and UUNET Technologies, Inc. He received a B.A. from Pomona College, a law degree from U.C. Berkeley's Boalt Hall School of Law and began his career with the Washington D.C. law firm of Steptoe & Johnson LLP.

An experienced technology and corporate lawyer, Clint is a member of the Silicon Valley Association of General Counsel and the Association of Corporate Counsel. He has previously held leadership positions with the American Bar Association's Section of Science & Technology, as well as with the U.S. Internet Service Provider Association (www.usispa.org), the Business Software Alliance (www.bsa.org) and other technology trade associations.


Will Breetz

GM and VP of E-Commerce

Will Breetz is VP and GM of TrialPay’s e-commerce initiative. Prior to TrialPay, he held product and marketing roles in Internet and software companies both big and small. He has built, launched and grown products at Microsoft, Salesforce.com, Trilogy, Salion, and Living.com. Additionally, he was a manager at McKinsey & Company. Will graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University and has an MBA from Wharton.


Jason Bosinoff

Vice President of Engineering

Prior to joining TrialPay, Jason developed the shopping comparison feature within Internet retail giant Buy.com.  He was also a founding engineer at online social shopping mall Metails.com, which was acquired by Buy.com in 2004.   In his spare time, Jason enjoys hiking and bicycling.  Jason studied at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.


Johnson Ma

Senior Director of Business Development

Johnson Ma is Senior Director of Business Development and has been with TrialPay since January 2007. Johnson is responsible for business development and marketing at TrialPay. Prior to TrialPay, he has been involved in a number of consumer-focused Internet ventures, including starting multiple online forum communities and holding Business Development and Product Management roles at CrossCommerce, a Sprout Group (DLJ) funded e-merchandising platform. Johnson received a BA in Economics, with highest honors, from UC Berkeley.


Chuck Yu

Senior Director of Business Development

Chuck Yu is a Senior Director of Business Development at TrialPay, where he oversees general business operations and is responsible for both advertising and merchant account management teams.  Chuck is an attorney and a member of the California State Bar.  Chuck has a BA in History from UC Berkeley and JD from UC Hastings College of the Law. 


Peter Wexler

Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships

Peter Wexler is TrialPay’s Senior Director of Strategic Partnerships, where he is responsible for all worldwide advertising partnership initiatives. Peter comes to TrialPay from GetConnected, Inc. where he held senior business development and account management positions focused on growing industry adoption of GetConnected’s digital services platform.

Earlier in his career, Peter held senior leadership positions with both Grant Thornton LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP, specializing in network security implementation and consulting as well as financial data modeling solutions. Peter holds a BS from the University of Delaware and an MBA with a concentration in Entrepreneurship from Babson.
